Settlement Control Audit Lab

A six-week live path for fintech teams who need to design and execute payment operations audits that survive product change.

Team collaborating in a modern office

Learning outcomes

  • Define audit scope that matches settlement paths, not org charts alone.
  • Build sampling plans for breaks, holds, and refunds with documented rationale.
  • Assemble evidence packs reviewers can follow without a live walkthrough.
  • Write findings with severity, owner, and remediation checkpoints.
  • Brief mixed audiences — ops, finance, and risk — in one shared narrative.

Informational pricing

Control Cohort packaging for this lab starts at ₩1,850,000 for up to five teammates. Ledger Walk individual access to recorded core modules is listed on the pricing page. No payments are taken on this website.

Duration: 6 weeks · Format: live sessions + async practice · Language: English

Modules

Each module ends with an artifact you can reuse inside your company.

1. Map the money path

Trace authorization, capture, settlement, and payout edges. Identify where your audit can actually observe data.

2. Control inventory without theatre

List controls that change loss likelihood, retire decorative checks, and note owners who can act.

3. Sampling that survives skepticism

Choose sample sizes for breaks and refunds, document exclusions, and rehearse how you will defend the method.

4. Evidence packs

Assemble exports, screenshots, and timestamps into a pack a reviewer can open cold.

5. Findings and remediation

Write findings with severity language, propose remediations, and set follow-up checks that fit release cycles.

6. Capstone memo

Submit a capped audit memo for facilitator critique; optional peer read-through in the final week.

Former payments risk lead for a Seoul-based wallet platform. Sora has guided internal audits across settlement, disputes, and merchant payouts, and now facilitates Netappsync’s flagship lab.

Learner notes

Week four’s evidence pack exercise exposed gaps in how we stored PSP files. Mild downside: evening sessions were tough for our Busan teammates on a different shift pattern.

Yuri N. · Risk Operations, Seoul

The remediation checkpoints in module five mapped cleanly onto our sprint board. I still want a deeper FX appendix, but the core settlement audit flow is solid.

FAQ

Who is this lab for?

Settlement, reconciliation, payments risk, and internal audit partners inside fintech companies. Purely product-only roles may find the sampling work dense without an ops partner.

Do we need to share live production data?

No. We work with synthetic datasets by default. If you choose a private studio add-on, you may share anonymized extracts under your own policies.

What is a real limitation of this course?

The lab does not configure your PSP dashboards or data warehouse. Teams without export access will complete exercises on sample files and must unlock tooling separately to apply methods in production.

Is pricing paid on this site?

No. Figures are informational. Enrollment is arranged after you contact us.
